Our Mission
Cahaya is more than a word, it’s a feeling, a moment, a deep meaningful breath
Cahaya is an Indonesian word that translates to “light” - the latin word being Lux; meaning light, illustration, elucidation. Cahaya means guiding the light within, through the sensation of breath with appreciation and gratitude.
Light is often overlooked, taken for granted, and expected. Flip any light switch and there you are, illuminated in glorious light. Each day the sun rises and sets, bathing us in warm welcoming light, though we rarely take time to appreciate it. Similar to the breath in our bodies, each day we are breathed effortlessly. The breath comes in and out with ease and yet we pay little to no attention to this wonderful natural phenomena.
CALLIE, Founder
“I know change, change has been the only constant in my life for as long as I can remember - and I’ve grown quite fond of it.”
This is why I’m most comfortable leading people into the places that excite and scare them. These truly are the spaces that bring change from within. I’ve been unofficially deemed a great motivational guide by friends, family and new people who meet me. Through studying mindfulness, I’ve become deeply aware that it is an important step in newly discovering the world around you and how to better find your place in it. Helping others through Breathwork, Meditation, and Reiki has absolutely been my most rewarding experience to date.
